| Primary
school selected for Government pilot project |

school pupils watching a film on Road Safety at the Savita
Didi Mehta School |
| The
Dr. Savita Didi Mehta Primary School shone once again
by being selected as a Pilot School in the country, by
the Government, to educate Ugandan children on Road Safety.
The selection basis was the school's good performance
as well as its role in implementing Government Policies
like the Presidential Initiative on AIDS Strategy for
Communication to the Youth (PIASY). To further the initiative,
the school received a collection of video tapes and text
books on the subject of Road Safety Education. SCOUL supported
this initiative by giving the school a colour television
and VCR. We hope the project is a success and the school
and its bright pupils continue to shine among other schools.
